Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information Wire collects, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and name via Clerk, our authentication provider. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

Usage data. We store your play record and bankroll setting in our database, tied to your user ID. This includes play details, bet results, and timestamps.

Push notification tokens. If you opt in to push notifications, we store your browser push subscription token to deliver alerts.

Payment information. Billing is handled by Stripe. Wire never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and provide access to Wire
• To store and sync your play record and bankroll across devices
• To send you push notifications when new signals are detected (only if you opt in)
• To send daily email summaries of plays (only if you are a subscriber)
• To process your subscription payment
• To improve the service and fix bugs

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

3. Third-Party Services

Wire uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — authentication and user management (clerk.com)
• Vercel — hosting and database storage (vercel.com)
• Upstash — Redis database for record storage (upstash.com)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (resend.com)
• Stripe — subscription billing (stripe.com)
• The Odds API — sports odds data (the-odds-api.com)

4. Data Retention

Your play record and bankroll are stored for up to one year from your last activity. If you cancel your subscription and do not return, your data may be deleted after this period. You can delete your record at any time from within the Wire dashboard.

5. Cookies

Wire uses cookies solely for authentication (managed by Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not run third-party ad networks.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of email communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
• Opt out of push notifications at any time via your browser settings

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access, and authenticated API routes. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please contact us immediately.

8. Children's Privacy

Wire is not intended for users under the age of 21. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under this age. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete the account immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of Wire after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
